Or, even better, an actual on-screen kiss. AKA That One Moment in the manga where Bubbleo floats over to Sorey’s cheek and Sorey has the most surprised look on his face before Bubbleo floats away. (Yes, they let the Water Armatus effectively No Sell fucking Indignation and it’s their Crowning Moment of Awesome.) After which, Sorey fires Siegfried to separate Maotelus from Heldalf. Sorey (in water armatus) eating a fucking Indignation to the face, and standing in the center of the blast radius, unscathed.(Hell, I already do over the game’s version and we just had the two of them talking under the stars!) Bonus points if they do an epic rearrange of Journey’s End/Determination of the Two (Shared Determination) in the process, and yes, if they do, you can expect me to break down into tears over it. Sorey handing Mikleo the Celestial Record, symbolically handing Mikleo their dream for safe keeping (Whether they do the last night in town conversation in Lastonbell like the game or in Ladylake like the manga is optional to me).(The manga followed the game and did the Sorey loses his resonance arc, although they do skip the 4 shrines.) What this means is that I now have a (not-so-short) wishlist for S2: One of the things I noticed after getting my hands on the Zestiria manga is how closely the anime is following it, if you ignored that travesty of a S1 finale. That is to say, none of that terribad fanfic S1 finale bullshit and a whole metric fuckton of SoreMiku. I have no words and I secretly hope this is a Really Good Sign of what’s coming for S2 of Tales of Zestiria the X. Soymilkheaven answers an ask tales of zestiria Anonymous ![]() Good luck, anon, I hope those tips helped you! This is also one of the few fights where I’ve found armatizing doesn’t necessarily help because Heldalf doesn’t attack back while he’s channeling his spell, so the higher defensive stats don’t get you much, and I’ve had more luck with 2 characters attacking at the same time. The other thing I do is I switch up the AI’s settings (in the Strategy menu) at the start of each of these sections, and set it to a really aggressive setting (basically use all the SC, burn BG as it wants, anything and everything to just Deal More Damage) so they help you crank out the damage, and then swap back to a more defensive setting after. Alternately, try and use Sorey’s up/down martial arte combo and go with his True Fang/Tiger Blade/Earth Dragon Fang/Sword Rain combo to take advantage of the anti-dragon typing on Earth Dragon Fang to squeeze out some extra damage. If you’re okay with changing which character you play as, playing as Rose and having her spam Dream Slasher (Musouka) hidden arte is one of the best ways to make it happen. To interrupt him, you just need to do a bunch of damage to him, and he will stop casting it. ![]() Every time you take off a quarter of his health, he’ll start casting Indignation (that’s the name of his spell that wipes you if he finishes). Focus on keeping your health above 50% and maintaining DPS.Armatized Heldalf is a scripted fight. ![]() If she ends up dying, don't bother reviving her. It especially gets harder during the last phase since she can't armatize and easily gets combo'd to death. If you're wondering why I haven't mentioned Rose yet, it's because she'll eventually become a liability during the 3rd and 4th phase of this boss fight. Just keep using your basic attacks and making sure you're comboing into his laser beam hidden arte since that's his best skills (IMO). Once you get to using Mikleo last, it's a cake walk from there. When you get to using Lailah 3rd phase, just make sure you constantly comboing with her Molten Lava wall skill (can't remember exact name off the top of my head) since it's fast to activate and does a decent amount of damage. If you don't mind a bit of backseating, here's the order I did it that was easiest for me:Įdna or Zaveid 1st > Zaveid or Edna 2nd > Lailah > Mikleoīasically, Edna and Zaveid are somewhat tied for least amount of DPS (IMO), but I personally get rid of Zaveid first since the Wind Seraph's combo's are a bit wonky. The reason why you're not getting the option to use "L1" is because you didn't deal enough damage before heldalf finished charging his attack. What difficulty are you currently playing on? You should be fine on Normal, but you may tend to struggle a bit on the next hardest difficulty.
